Ready for the next step? ✊
With the launch of the Outdoor Access Initiative, growing pressure on major retailers and further political projects, key decisions lie ahead. To ensure that we can fully seize this opportunity for animals, we are launching our Summer Challenge today.
The second half of 2026 offers a rare political and societal opportunity to effectively advance the interests of animals in Switzerland.
In just a few weeks, signature collection for the Outdoor Access Initiative will begin — one of the most ambitious political projects since our 2022 Initiative to abolish Factory Farming. At the same time, we are increasing pressure on major retailers, strengthening projects against misleading advertising and developing political levers for more sustainable food systems.
The coming months will therefore be decisive for millions of animals in Switzerland.
Every donation is doubled
Until the end of this week, every donation will be matched: for every franc donated, generous supporters will contribute the same amount, up to a total of CHF 20,000.
CHF 40 becomes CHF 80.
CHF 100 becomes CHF 200.
CHF 500 becomes CHF 1,000.
What your support makes possible
If, for example, you skip your daily takeaway coffee this week and donate the amount instead, you help mobilise thousands of people for animals — and thanks to the matching challenge, your impact is doubled.
- With just CHF 35, we can reach around 3,000 people on social media and mobilise new supporters for our campaigns.
- With CHF 250, we can distribute more than 1,000 flyers, stickers and other campaign materials for the Outdoor Access Initiative.
- With CHF 500, we can fund events and mobilise volunteers.
- With CHF 1,000, we can build stronger automation and more resilient operational structures for the long term.
- With CHF 2,000, we can organise a professionally moderated roundtable with key stakeholders from retail, agriculture and politics, or fund larger mobilisation efforts for national campaigns.
- With CHF 5,000, we can significantly develop core campaign areas, from national visibility and large-scale mobilisation materials to digital campaigns, and increase staffing capacity for the Outdoor Access Initiative and other key projects.
Setting the course for animals now
The coming months could determine how strongly animals will be politically represented in the future.
With your support, we can ensure that this momentum is not wasted.
