Bettina Huber

Bettina is an animal ethicist and works as a marketing manager at Swissveg, where she is responsible for campaign and project work. Previously, she studied philosophy and Spanish at the Universities of Bern and Basel and did her PhD on the topic of animal dignity. In 2022, her revised dissertation was published as a book entitled « Animal dignity – living in accordance with the self-image » From 2021 to 2022 Bettina was also a member of the cantonal committee on animal experimentation in BS, BL and AG. Bettina is active in various associations to promote greater animal welfare and the implementation of animal rights.
