Bettina Huber

Bettina is an animal ethicist and used to be a Sentience board member. In Autumn 2023 she took on the role as head of communication and fundraising. Previously, she studied philosophy at the Universities of Bern and Basel and did her PhD on the topic of animal dignity. In 2022, her revised dissertation was published as a book entitled « Animal dignity – living in accordance with the self-image » From 2021 to 2022 Bettina was also a member of the cantonal committee on animal experimentation in BS, BL and AG. Bettina is active in various associations to promote greater animal welfare and the implementation of animal rights.
