Ready for the next step ✊

With the launch of the Outdoor Access Initiative, increasing pressure on major retailers, the expansion of political campaigns, and additional projects, several crucial decisions lie ahead. To ensure we can fully capitalise on this momentum, every donation made this week will be doubled up to a total amount of CHF 20,000.

In a few weeks, we will begin collecting signatures for the Outdoor Access Initiative, one of the most ambitious political projects in our history since our Initiative to abolish factory farming in 2022. At the same time, we are intensifying pressure on major retailers, expanding our “Ad Crap” project, and developing political leverage points for more sustainable food systems.

The coming weeks will determine how strongly we can shape this critical phase for animals

Without sufficient resources, we risk falling short of this potential. To ensure we can make the most of this rare political opportunity, every donation made this week will be matched.

Every donation counts twice

Until the end of the week, every donation will be doubled: for every franc donated, generous supporters will contribute the same amount, up to CHF 20,000.

CHF 40 becomes CHF 80.
CHF 100 becomes CHF 200.
CHF 500 becomes CHF 1,000.

What your support makes possible

If, for example, you skip your daily coffee-to-go this week and donate the amount instead, you will help mobilise thousands of people for animals — and thanks to matching, your impact will be doubled.

  • With just CHF 35, we can reach around 3,000 people on social media and mobilise new supporters for our campaigns.
  • With CHF 250, we can distribute more than 1,000 flyers, stickers, and other campaign materials for the Outdoor Access Initiative.
  • With CHF 500, we can fund events that help mobilise volunteers.
  • With CHF 1,000, we can build stronger automation and more resilient operational structures for the long term.
  • With CHF 2,000, we can organise a professionally moderated roundtable with key stakeholders from retail, agriculture, and politics, or finance larger mobilisation efforts for national campaigns.
  • With CHF 5,000, we can significantly develop core campaign areas, from national visibility and large-scale mobilisation materials to digital campaigns, and increase staffing capacity for the Outdoor Access Initiative and other key projects.

What is at stake in the coming months

In just a few weeks, one of the most ambitious political projects since our 2022 Initiative to abolish Factory Farming will begin. We are currently in the final stretch of building the structures needed to enter this phase strongly.

Over the coming months, we aim to:

  • Strategically activate the thousands of supporters we have already engaged
  • Prepare campaign materials, communication processes, and mobilisation structures
  • Coordinate volunteers across Switzerland and strengthen regional networks
  • Expand campaign, media, and fundraising structures
  • Build the foundation for a nationally visible and politically impactful initiative launch

Our goal is clear: from day one, we want to send a strong social and political signal.

We are also intensifying our work with Migros, Coop, Lidl, and Aldi.

Over the coming months, we plan to:

  • Conduct in-depth research into how consumers perceive animal farming and retailer responsibility
  • Organise moderated roundtables to develop binding solutions
  • Involve additional stakeholders
  • Strategically expand our long-term broiler chicken campaign

A key objective is securing the adoption of the European Chicken Commitment by major Swiss retailers. Our aim is not only to increase pressure, but to drive systemic change for broiler chickens in Swiss retail.

With the “Ad Crap” project, we aim to expose the distorted images of animal farming promoted by major retailers and the animal products industry, while increasing pressure on those responsible.

Over the coming months, we plan to:

  • Further develop our platform and campaign work
  • Expand media and public outreach
  • Use political and social leverage points to create long-term change in advertising narratives
  • Ongoing awareness raising about the deliberate disconnect between advertising and reality

We are working to anchor sustainable nutrition more firmly within political processes and public institutions.

To achieve this, we want to:

  • Strategically identify cities and political decision-makers
  • Develop concrete political strategies and policy proposals
  • Build local alliances
  • Strengthen public procurement and plant-based offerings as systemic leverage points
  • Lay the groundwork for long-term political transformation of the food system

Together, we create change

As a donation-funded organisation, we can only continue our work thanks to people like you. Your support enables us to advance key projects with full force in 2026: launching the Outdoor Access Initiative, maintaining pressure on retailers, and developing new political initiatives for animals.

Together, we can ensure that animals receive the visibility, representation, and change they urgently need during this decisive political phase.
