We represent the interests of non-human animals in our society. We focus our efforts and attention particularly on agriculture, consumption and animal dignity. The Swiss Animal Welfare Act does not do justice to the principle of animal dignity that is anchored in the constitution. In Swiss agriculture particularly, as it becomes increasingly intensive, animals are confronted with massive interventions in their lives. A drastic reduction in the consumption of animal products is needed in order to address this problem. This goes hand in hand with political reforms, and can also contribute to animals in Switzerland being allowed to live a life with dignity.
