Double Your Donation by December 31

We would like to announce an exciting giving opportunity! From now until the end of the year, all donations to Sentience will be matched up to a total of 30,000 CHF. This matching challenge is made possible thanks to a few generous donors. Please help us to reach our fundraising goal so that together we can challenge the perception of animals as consumable products.

What difference will your donation make?
Sentience launches campaigns to improve the status and treatment of animals in society. We are well-positioned to commence our 3R agenda, now that our flagship initiative to abolish factory farming has concluded. The initiative to abolish factory farming was the first time voters were able to decide the issue in any country in the world and served as an important basis for discussion. With our 3R project – which aims to Refine, Reduce and Replace the use of animals for food – we further this discussion. We focus on media outreach and policy changes using the direct democratic means available to us here. We want Switzerland to lead the way in the food system reforms that are so urgently needed.

The money raised from this matching challenge will contribute to our 2023 core expenditures, such as staff salaries and administrative costs. We are a small and passionate team working on reducing the suffering of all sentient animals. Right now, we’re undergoing some exciting team changes that will be announced in an upcoming blog post. Your contribution will help us to continue our work to reduce animal suffering as effectively as possible.

«People who have never heard about the conditions in Swiss farms are now thinking about them. All the politicians have heard the specifics, all the journalists, and they probably will keep on talking about it. So this, for us, is already success.»

We hope that you will take advantage of this meaningful opportunity to double your donation. You can also share this matching challenge with your family and friends to increase your impact even further. With your help, we can reduce animal suffering by working on new and innovative campaign work.

Thank you!
