Sentience demands the RRRevolution!

The suffering of animals in Swiss agriculture is enormous. Most cows, pigs, chickens, sheep and other individuals live in conditions that we find unacceptable for other animals, such as dogs. For example, it is unthinkable, let alone legal, that dogs should live in their own excrement without exercise, with little social contact and for only a fraction of their natural life spans. Driven by the demand for maximum productivity, more and more animals are kept in ever-smaller spaces. Torturous breeding processes result in short lives marked by suffering.

With our initiative against factory farming, we have launched a first step towards a future free of suffering. But what comes next? The RRRevolution! Sentience demands the introduction of the 3R principle (Refine, Reduce, Replace) for animals in Swiss agriculture.
