Siobhan Ballan

Siobhan is working with us on a placement generously funded by Animal Advocacy Careers. She carries out prospect research, contributes to donor reports and is developing our fundraising strategy. She brings several years of communications experience to the team. Prior to joining Sentience, Siobhan worked for Animal Charity Evaluators and managed her own charitable organisation with a child protection focus.

Siobhan has been mindful of the plight of farm animals since 2015, after watching slaughterhouse footage on YouTube. She enjoys pitching in ideas at Sentience, where she is able to work flexibly alongside her role as a mother. Siobhan has a paragliding licence and enjoys the great outdoors.
